I love the title, which I take it was the name of the venue--very gritty, urban and rural, got me thinking steampunk: "Freight and Salvage", the things we carry and the stuff we save. Totally GP. The Vitruvian Man drawing was right in line with this ethic. And then I see the cartoon cover. As Fred Willard said: Wha happ'end? Now, I understand that GP knows very well that the demographic that will buy this disc is only slightly larger than the number of us who would purchase the Chairman's jarred farts, but I don't forgive him for not giving us a classier cover--something like the first Live Alone disc. Sadly I sense the loss of that certain prized photographer and graphic consultant. Oh well. Can't wait to hear it.

I'll throw my two cents worth in and say that I like them both. I would guess that GP had a hand in the design and could have certainly influenced the content. I actually enjoy the bright colors of the cover and if it might get someone new to put it in their hand, all the better. I also think either of them would make a great t-shirt that I would love to own. (Hint, hint.)

Howdy folks!
First... GP&Figgs this Sunday at the Bull Run in Massachusetts!
Next... I had a similar idea to some of the board posters... so... I am creating an embroidery design incorporating the head exploding image... If I can get a good image out onto some fabric(t-shirts, towels... etc..) you may see something on Sunday!!!!
2cents.. I have a fb account that i go into once a month... but this was the only board I even looked at...

Midnight - I will see you Sunday!!!! I'm at table 63. Will you be bringing the brace of redheads? And are they about six feet tall by now????

Concert Going Partner and I created our own Don't Tell Columbus t-shirts. One shirt featured the cover art from the CD and the other, the compass rose design from the CD itself. When GP saw our shirts he used the word "resourceful." If I can remember where I put it maybe I'll wear it on Sunday.

This will be my first GP band show in about two years so I am psyched, although I have seen Pete Donnelly recently (with NRBQ).
