great interview, thanks for posting, MPF! graham's new comments here have me more excited for the album than previously:
"these things come out and you can’t censor yourself too much" -- sounds very organic and intuitive.

It is a bit hard to strip away all that is happening and just focus on the songs. I've been listening to a few each day and I am growing very impressed by their level of sophistication mixed with their intuitive nature. I am starting to think that GP reached really high with this group of songs and may have hit it out of the park. Obviously we can't tell too much from what's out there...some are full album cuts and some are from solo shows...but as GP says...these are the songs. All the GP ingredients are there...including lots of songs with big words which is my favorite GP game. If the later GP albums have one shared theme it is that he really struggles with the issues that confront thinking feeling adults. It seems that the JA movie is comically dealing with the same issues. It usually takes me about a month to digest a new album so in this case I think the release date will be perfect. ARE You Ready?
