Hey, I have a new label called Quake Records. My very next release will be the long lost Rumour album "Purity Of Essence". But you're probably thinking, "this has already been done. The album is already available on Gadfly Records". Not quite. There were two completely different versions of the album. One was recorded in England for Stiff Records and the other was recorded at Island Studios (also in England) for Hannibal Records in the United States. The US version has never been released on CD - until now. I think the US version blows the UK version away, plus it has three different songs. It will be released April 10.

Is this CD available for sale outside the the USA? The CCNow checkout currently only accepts US billing and shipping addresses.

Sure you can order outside the US. I'm not seeing the restriction you're talking about.

By the way, for a limited time I'm offering a FREE copy of 80's Reverb Rules with the purchase of this album.

Believe it or not, I still have the original US release of this fine album on vinyl. I can't recommend it enough!

As you may know, if you order this album from the quake-records.com site, you'll get a free copy of GP's "80's Reverb Rules OK!" (while supplies last), but if you already have that CD and don't want another copy, you can get the Rumour album for a pretty good price at CD Universe:

A shameless plug...

I included the Purity of Essence on my Ipod shuffle and sort've forgot about it and recently I was listening to the ipod and I was hearing these great songs and didn't know where they came from. I thought maybe the Figgs put out their perfect album and somehow it ended up on my ipod. I think it explains how the Figgs got so into GP musically since Purity of Essence contains songs that could be done by the figgs. And the sound is incredible.
